14 Hurricanes were members of the crew at the championship, including the Senior Open teams helm. Another 4 helped to make it happen - one as a GB Senior Ladies Coach, one as GB Senior Ladies Team Manager and two Race Officials. 18 members in all. The crew was represented in the Premiere Open Crew for the first time, (1 Silver), the Senior Open (3 Silver), the Senior Ladies team, (2 Gold), the Junior and Junior Mixed teams (2 Gold and 3 Silver). Then there was the "unofficial members of the squad" (the contingent of Hurricanes that ensured that whenever a GB crew was doing their stuff, that it felt like a home event, with a fanatical following, such was the level of support).
